BidOnMyTrip.com is revolutionary sales channel for independent travel agents. Rather than an agent needed to spend money upfront inorder to locate a new customer, BidOnMyTrip.com offers you direct access to thousands of consumers with an active desire to purchase a specific vacation. BidOnMyTrip collects a nominal fee only once your new client has made a booking and final payment has been made for their trip.
With the growth of online usage, a significant portion of consumers began to purchase their vacations via online travel agencies (OTAs). As use of these OTAs increased, independent travel agents found themselves having dificulty competing and saw a reduction in their sales and income. BidOnMyTrip.com was built with a goal of enhancing the ability of all travel agents to effectively attract new customers and demonstrate the value of the outstanding prices and service which only a true agent can provide.
Using BidOnMyTrip.com consumers are able to search and select their desired vacation from the largest database of cruises, tours, and all inclusive resorts. Once selected, the consumer provides all the pertinent information needed for an agent to effectively provide a quotation for their desired trips. But the best price is not the only factor in your offer, agents should also differentiate themselves by expressing the added value services that make themselves different from other agents. Once the consumer has communicated with their selection of agents that have entered a quotation, they are able to request a hold, provide payment information, and ultimately purchase their vacation from you, the agent.
BidOnMyTrip’s system is based on the principle of a reverse auction. A reverse auction is a type of auction in which the traditional roles of buyer and seller are reversed. Instead of needing to advertise and promote on multiple sites, using our site, you will access a list of vacation requests that consumers are interested in purchasing.
